How It Works

A structured testing loop

ForexTestLab is designed around a simple, repeatable four-step workflow.

  1. 01

    Select a pair and period

Choose a currency pair and a historical period you want to study.

  2. 02

    Replay without future candles

Move through the data one step at a time — you never see what happens next.

  3. 03

    Place simulated trades

Enter simulated positions using defined risk rules, stops, and targets.

  4. 04

    Review and improve

Study your results, identify recurring mistakes, and refine your approach.

  • Track recurring mistakes

Use the journal to surface patterns you'd like to correct over time.

  • Compare trading approaches

Is ForexTestLab a broker?
No. ForexTestLab is not a broker and does not offer accounts, deposits, withdrawals, or live order execution. It is an educational and analytical software platform for practising and reviewing strategies with simulated trades.
